Services at the Park

There are many park amenities for guests convenience.
Kasilof RV Park has modern, clean facilities, the bathrooms and showers are rated 9.5! In addition, there is a laundry area with three washers and two dryers for the guests.

We have Free WiFi!
There is a dump station (free for guests) and a Propane filling station.

Along with recommendations on salmon and halibut fishing we have a Fish Cleaning Table for guest use.

We have experience visiting most of the major scenic sites in Alaska and can provide information on what to see, when to go and how to get there (see Fun Trips).

We can also make reservations for you for whale watching and sea life cruises, boat rides to Seldovia, airplane rides to see the bears, and bus tours into Denali National Park. These are special services for our guests at the park.

Trout fishing is allowed in Johnson Lake.  Salmon fishing is available in the Kasilof and Kenai Rivers.  Crooked Creek is not open for fishing until August 1st.  Salmon fishing locations and fishing instructions are available at the office.

Dog Sitting

Off on a day trip. fishing trip, or tour? We have a new Dog Sitting Business in our Park! Check in with summer resident Kim Brooks–she’ll take care of your dog(s) while you are out.  Kim loves dogs and always has baked dog cookies just for them. She’ll make sure they get walks and have a good time while you are out.

Campfire Pit

Campfires are not allowed at campsites due to Forest Service regulations.
So our firepit is greatly enjoyed by our visitors. We spend many evenings with guests around the fire enjoying the company and meeting new friends. The campground fire pit has been a great alternative to have campfires at the campsites. It’s a great place to meet other people, hear good stories, sing songs and we furnish the firewood! There is also a grill that can be swung over the fire pit for grilling.
