There are so many interesting places just a short drive away on the Kenai Peninsula- we know you will enjoy any one of these FUN TRIPS.
How about taking a trip across the Kenai River in a ferry so you can join a large number of other fishermen trying to catch the first run of Red (Sockeye) salmon of the season.
Or how about exploring the coast line of the Cook Inlet and stopping to tour the Old Russian Orthodox Church in Kenai or on the bluff above Ninilchik Village.
Maybe drive on down the coast to Homer and have lunch overlooking the boat harbor before you tour the boardwalk and see all the Halibut caught that day.
Or let the ladies visit all the shops on the boardwalk while the men catch some naps.
Take a drive over to Seward for the day and enjoy the aquarium in the Sea Life Center and walk up to the edge of Exit Glacier. While you are there take a boat tour of Resurrection Bay and the Kenai Fjords National Park to enjoy the many glaciers flowing out of the Kenai Mountains in to the ocean and the sea life that exists in the fertile waters. Kasilof RV Park can make reservations for these cruises through the majestic Kenai Fjords.
Let us also set up a trip for you to Mt. McKinley, the highest mountain in North America. We Alaskans call it Denali which means ‘Beautiful One,’ and it is.
